Edna Fails, a breast cancer survivor, continues her daughter’s efforts of supporting and encouraging breast cancer patients and survivors as the Vice President of the KFJ Foundation. Edna works one-on-one with clients, providing guidance to resources for medical care and assessing financial need. She also attends speaking engagements to promote breast cancer awareness and KFJ services.
William "Doug" Fails is a retired engineer of 38 years of Missile Intelligence. He is the president of both the KFJ Foundation and Rural Senior Services and the father of Kimberly Fails Jones.
Nikia Lightfoot-Parker, is a breast cancer survivor. In August 2012, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is not only a survivor, but a warrior in helping to eradicate this global epidemic. Nikia’s passions are to educate and create awareness to breast cancer.
Teresa Foley-Batts is a recent retiree from NASA. She is a community and civic volunteer and serves on various boards. She finds joy in making a difference in the lives of others. She was a personal friend of Kimberly and is thankful to be a part of her legacy through the KFJ Foundation.
Diane Singletary King is a guidance counselor with Huntsville City Schools and a realtor. She is a member of Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church and enjoys participating in community service initiatives.
Dwight Pope is a marketing consultant, and community organizer. He has spent 16 years committing himself to implementing his innovative ideas in art, community events, and marketing for positive change in the Huntsville community. He leads the efforts of marketing and promotions for the KFJ Foundation.
Sandy Cross is a Breast Health Navigator at Huntsville Hospital. She has been a nurse for 25 years. The majority of that experience has been in Medical Intensive Care, Medflight, and Surgical Trauma Intensive Care. She now counsels newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and help them navigate through the breast cancer season of their lives. She also raises money for breast cancer patients while they are undergoing treatment. Sandy aids in fundraising and program/event coordination for the KFJ Foundation.
